About Mr. Miller: As the Chicago head of Jones Lang LaSalle’s Capital Markets Group, Mr. Miller keeps a constant pulse on international real estate conditions drawing upon JLL’s extensive global expertise and international network. At JLL, his focus is on dispositions and recapitalization of industrial, office, retail and multi-family assets located in Chicago and throughout the Midwest. These activities require local market knowledge combined with contacts in real estate capital markets around the globe. He has sold properties with total value in excess of $5 billion. Mr. Miller is also a member of JLL’s Chicago Executive Committee. Mr. Miller is a dynamic speaker who has addressed this topic at previous real estate conferences. His update will feature the real estate markets in Africa, Asia, Europe, North America and South America and the current driving forces in foreign direct investment. Mr. Miller received an MBA from The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and a B.B.A. in Finance and Economics from the University of Iowa. He was the recipient of the Greater Food Depository Investment Broker of the Year award for 2007/2008.
