Spa Weekend 2009

Consensus:  We can hardly wait to go back next year!

25 CREW members and guests enjoyed a gorgeous September weekend at the Heartland Spa.

Marcia Rubenstein has once again generously volunteered to coordinate Spa Weekend 2010.  Maybe that’s because we had such a fun surprise birthday party for her on contraband night.  (Just kidding – she had already volunteered.)

Everyone was asked what they liked best:

“I love coming to the Heartland where we can take over the whole spa.  Service is wonderful, the setting – in the middle of corn and soybeans, a pond and some woods – is lovely and peaceful.”  (Helen Kessler)
 “Having the place to ourselves really created many moments to “bond”.  It’s a great time to get to know a fellow CREW member that I didn’t know as well before.  Many friendships have been started here!  The services are great, too.” (Cindy Wozny-Carl)

Those of you who missed it get another chance.  We have reserved September 24-26, 2010 for our fabulous annual CREW Spa Weekend, so MARK YOUR CALENDARS now!  Yes, the countdown begins – less than 9 months until the relaxing and primping and toning and pampering begins.  And for those of you on board for the 20-pound challenge, you’ve still got plenty of time to get there without the last minute crunch (or crunches, as the case may be…).  

Best of all!!  Heartland Spa has agreed to hold 2009 prices for anyone who signs up by December 31, 2009.  All you have to do is register and place a deposit ($267.50) to hold your place and the rate.  You can fax the attached reservation form with payment to (815) 683-2144 or call Heartland at (800) 545-4853 and charge the deposit to a credit card.  There’s still no online registration, but it really is easy to do it over the phone, they walk you through all the required info.  Just ask for Emily or tell them it’s for the CREW group.
