IN MEMORIAM: DEBBIE FRANK
CREW Chicago is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our revered and inspiring member, Debbie Frank. Debbie approached her battle with cancer as she did everything in life – with strength, determination and humor. She lost her battle on December 16, 2020, leaving behind her husband Pete and young daughter.
Debbie spent the last 14 years at Golub & Company, most recently as senior vice president and leader of the company’s expanding commercial portfolio. Debbie’s expertise in commercial real estate leasing ran deep – she successfully played a role in stabilizing many iconic assets including 875 N. Michigan Avenue (formerly The John Hancock Center) and Rockefeller Center in New York. She was a friend and mentor to many of us at CREW.
“Debbie’s immense talent for business and deep compassion for others earned her the love, trust and respect of all who had the joy of working with her here at Golub & Company,” said Paula Harris, managing principal. “Her bright light, warm smile, wicked sense of humor and infectious joie de vivre will truly be missed. It is our mission to ensure that Debbie’s legacy lives on, and we will share our plan with the Chicago real estate community as the year progresses,” she added.
