Christine is Senior Director of Development with Greystar, where her team is responsible for sourcing, acquisition, and development of multifamily, active adult, and student-oriented housing throughout the Midwest region.
Prior to joining Greystar, Christine was Associate Vice President of Development at Focus, a premier developer/general contractor in Northeastern Illinois. During her 6 years at Focus, Christine led the pursuit, entitlement, and development of over $350 million of projects in suburban and downtown communities. Her experience at Focus encompassed ground-up multifamily, mixed-use, and condominium development, as well as value-add residential rehabilitations.
Christine’s career in real estate began by shaping land use policy at ULI Chicago and managing housing initiatives on behalf of The Chicago Community Trust and The MacArthur Foundation. She is passionate about working across the development industry and with public, private, and non-profit partners to creatively solve real estate challenges.
In addition to her work, Christine holds several leadership positions within the real estate industry. She serves as President of Real Estate Finance Forum, a professional organization for women in commercial real estate finance; sits on the Housing & Land Use Committee of the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP); is Secretary on the Neighborhood Housing Services Redevelopment Corporation Board (NHSRC); and is a Member of the Alumni Council for the University of Chicago’s Harris School.
Christine received a Master’s Degree in Public Policy with a concentration in Urban Economics from the University of Chicago, and a BA in Ethnic Studies and Political Science from the University of Oregon. She lives in the city with her husband Mike and dog, Harris.
