RETAIL: Winners, Losers and Adaptive Reusers
After a year of pandemic, how owners of all retail types are meeting their tenants' changing needs.
The past year has brought great change to the retail market. Join CREW Chicago for a discussion featuring a diverse panel of owners and commercial brokers working in Chicagoland as well as other regions of the country on a variety of retail properties, including both urban and suburban retail locations, grocery-anchored open-air shopping centers, repurposed commercial properties in underserved neighborhoods, and more. Each panelist will present examples of recent successful projects which have improved outcomes for their properties, including creative repurposing of existing retail space, modifying existing space to accommodate new concepts and customer needs, and investing in underserved neighborhoods. Our panelists will also have the opportunity to answer questions about changes they see in retail operations and transactions as the market evolves.
We will conclude this lively discussion with questions from the audience.
